We attempted to put the Crimson Trace Laser grip made for the compact Glock 19/23 frame on a sub-compact Glock 27 green frame. It did not simply fit as-is, but we were able to modify it a bit so that it stayed on the pistol. The grip os designed for a different size and shape pistol, so while the larger laser grip almost fits, it does not quite work. We did not want to modify the Glock or the Crimson Trace Laser grip so we modified the pin that keeps the laser grip in place on the pistol. By creating a smaller diameter pin we were able to keep the larger Crimson Trace laser grip in place on this sub-compact Glock frame. however this experiment failed in the end because the laser does not stay in one place so it is not accurate consistently. We took the laser out to test fire and the recoil and grip on the pistol move the laser randomly, in effect making this combination a failure. Crimson Trace does make a set of laser grips for this series of Glock Sub-Compact frames, but we do not own one so we tried this set up.
